ESL Gaming taps Acer as OEM partner for Dota 2 tournaments

By Trent Murray

Global tournament organizer ESL Gaming has secured a partnership with PC hardware manufacturer Acer to make its gaming-focused brand Predator the official OEM partner of its ESL One and Dreamleague properties until the end of 2022. The exclusive deal also covers Dota Pro Circuit tournaments in Western Europe and North America, giving Predator coverage of ESL’s full Dota 2 tournament lineup.

ESL will integrate Predator Gaming into broadcasts, and the brand will have a booth presence at live events along with other activation opportunities. The partnership will begin with the ESL One Stockholm Major 2022, which kicks off Friday at the Hovet arena in Stockholm.

Acer and ESL have a long-standing relationship. In 2019, the companies signed an extension to make Predator the exclusive PC partner of its Intel Extreme Masters events for three years. Acer also sponsored multiple top-level Rainbow Six: Siege events (as you can see below) and has an ongoing relationship with Envy Gaming.
