Skillz, Drone Racing League launch mobile game

Skillz, the online mobile game platform that has attracted investment from the NFL’s 32 Equity investment and several team owners, has partnered with the Drone Racing League to launch the outfit’s first mobile game. Drone Racing Arcade is live today and will begin hosting online tournaments next month. DRL CMO Anne Marie Gianutsos led the discussions with Skillz business development group that began in June. Promotional activations will ramp up ahead of the holiday season. Skillz previously partnered with Chip Ganassi Racing on a mobile game app and counts Robert Kraft, Marc Lasry and Fred Wilpon among its investors.
