NFL rolling out first in-house gambling PSA

The NFL will debut its first league-produced responsible gambling public service TV spot during tonight’s "Thursday Night Football" Cowboys-Saints game on Fox. Tied to the league’s “Stick to Your Game Plan” campaign, the 30-second spot features NFL Network analyst and former coach Steve Mariucci writing at a chalkboard, with the camera pulling back to reveal three tenets of the league’s responsible gambling message: Set your limits, stick to them; Track your bets; and Only bet what you can afford. “That’s the game plan,” Mariucci says at the conclusion. “Stick to it.” The league announced the campaign, developed in conjunction with the nonprofit National Council on Problem Gambling, in October.
