SeatGeek, NHL Panthers partnering in new deal

By Bret McCormick

SeatGeek now has its first NHL enterprise client in a new deal with the Panthers, making it the team's official ticketing provider. It is also the first in South Florida for SeatGeek Enterprise. "Fundamentally, we find that we can deliver the best fan experience when we have a team like the Florida Panthers that believe in technology, understand how it can be used to enhance the way they think about inventory, data, the fan experience that doesn’t just end with buying the ticket but is this comprehensive experience in the venue,” said SeatGeek co-Founder Russ D’Souza.

The new deal’s start date is still being finalized. In addition to FLA Live Arena, the Panthers’ War Memorial Auditorium is included in the new deal; the Panthers are redeveloping the theater and an appended practice facility, scheduled to open this year in Ft. Lauderdale.
