Rahm, Cantlay, Koepka headline this year's PGA Tour Player Advisory Council

The PGA Tour has revealed the Player Advisory Council for '22, and world No. 1 Jon Rahm, reigning FedExCup champion Patrick Cantlay and four-time major winner Brooks Koepka "highlight the 16-member council for this year," according to Joel Beall of GOLF DIGEST. Peter Malnati, Paul Casey, Harry Higgs, Billy Horschel, Russell Knox and Rahm are repeat members from last year’s council. Cantlay, Horschel, Malnati and Webb Simpson have been "selected by the player directors to run for PAC Co-Chairmen via election." The leading two vote-getters will replace James Hahn and Kevin Kisner as player directors on the PGA Tour Policy Board, serving three-year terms ('23-25) (, 1/17). GOLFWEEK's Todd Kelly noted the PAC "advises and consults" with the Policy Board as well as PGA Tour Commissioner Jay Monahan on "issues affecting the Tour." One of the big issues the PAC recently acted on was the "ban on green-reading books," which became official on Jan. 1 and first went into effect at the Sentry Tournament of Champions (, 1/17).
