ASM Global buys controlling interest in AV consultancy Anthony James Partners

By Bret McCormick

ASM Global has acquired a controlling interest in owners’ rep and audio/visual consultancy Anthony James Partners. The move comes as AV technology cements its place as central to the live experience, and it bolsters ASM Global’s tech capabilities through the strategic deployment of digital signage networks, LED displays, broadcast production facilities, audio and sports/entertainment lighting and core integration and infrastructure requirements for ASM-operated arenas, stadiums and convention centers. Founded in '07, Anthony James Partners specializes in the design, procurement and implementation of large-scale AV tech and systems. The company has provided or is providing technical/design management services for the Predators' Bridgestone Arena, White Sox' Guaranteed Rate Field, Union's Subaru Park, Coyotes' Gila River Arena, Purdue’s Ross-Ade Stadium, Xavier’s Cintas Center, a campus-wide digital signage network at Clemson and several ACC Network broadcast production facilities, most recently for Louisville, Pitt, North Carolina and Virginia Tech.
