Georgia football players seeing NIL deals roll in following CFP title

NIL deals are "starting to roll" in for Univ. of Georgia football players following their CFP win last week, according to Chip Towers of the ATLANTA JOURNAL-CONSTITUTION. TE Brock Bowers "signed with Everett Sports Marketing out of Greenville, S.C." ESM has "several other current and former Bulldogs among its clientele." DB Kelee Ringo was "marketing a line of shirts made in the wake" of his 79-yard, interception-return touchdown to clinch the title. Ringo is "selling T-shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies with the phrase 'Sealed the Deal' and his likeness making the pick on the front." They can be purchased for $29.99-49.99 from the website theplayerstrunk.com. Several other players are "expected launch products and announce promotional deals in the coming weeks and months." QB Stetson Bennett has "remained non-committal so far" about returning to play for UGA again next season (ATLANTA JOURNAL-CONSTITUTION, 1/15).
