By Ben Fischer

Veteran NFL Chief Information Officer MICHELLE MCKENNA will leave the league March 31, according to a memo obtained by SBJ. McKenna, who was a member of the '14 SBJ Game Changers class, joined as the league’s first CIO in '12 after holding the same title at Constellation Energy and Universal Orlando Resort. Her next destination is unknown. “Under Michelle’s leadership, the league’s technology has undergone significant transformation,” NFL Commissioner ROGER GOODELL wrote in a memo to staff. “She has led key initiatives that has brought more connectivity to our fans and cutting-edge technology to the game. She has served as an executive sponsor for the Women’s Interactive Network and has mentored many throughout the league.” Goodell noted that a search for a new CIO will begin soon.
