NFL Giants consolidate health care sponsors, extend Hackensack Meridian

By Ben Fischer

The NFL Giants have consolidated their sponsors in the health care category, signing a broad extension with New Jersey-based Hackensack Meridian Health and dropping New York-Presbyterian Hospital. With expanded rights, Hackensack Meridian is the only general-interest hospital to now work with the Giants. They had split rights with Presbyterian, whose deal expired. Hospital for Special Surgery, which handles orthopedic cases, is still under contract. Terms were not disclosed, but a source familiar with the deal said the reorganization has led to an increase in the total value of the category, which sits in the mid-seven figures. Hackensack Meridian will take over Presbyterian’s naming rights to the Legacy Club at MetLife Stadium, a large premium space that celebrates the Giants’ four Super Bowl wins and other historic feats.
