In Charlotte, Catherine Muccigrosso noted Bojangles is “extending its partnership with NASCAR star Dale Earnhardt Jr.” that began in August ’20. Both Earnhardt’s “The Dale Jr. Download” podcast and industry-insider show “Door Bumper Clear” will be recorded in a studio that “now will be named the Bojangles Studio.” The Bojangles Studio will feature a neon sign and window decals featuring the QSR, as well as refreshments “for Dirty Mo Media’s hosts, team members and guests” (CHARLOTTE OBSERVER, 9/14).

FLYING HIGH: Eagles QB Jalen Hurts has the “second-highest selling jersey in the NFL since Sunday,” behind only Patriots QB Mac Jones. Hurts’ 500% sales increase from Saturday to Sunday “was the largest of any player in the NFL.” Meanwhile, Eagles WR DeVonta Smith “has the top-selling jersey of all rookie non-quarterbacks since Sunday” (PHILADELPHIA INQUIRER, 9/14).
